Ampersands app for iPhone and iPad

This app is quite simply a celebration of the innate beauty of the humble ampersand.
Used by millions of us every day, this ligature of the letters et [Latin for "and"] can now be shown off in all its glory thanks to the iPads superb display quality.
We hope youll agree that the gallery weve created has resulted in each page effectively becoming a piece of art in its own right — or maybe thats just us!
The app has been designed so that switching from portrait to landscape view will change from the Regular to the Italic form of the font, often with astonishing differences between the two.
This is very much a first version of the app with just a very few of our favourite fonts to begin with. In future wed like to add a history/etymology, links, a choice of backgrounds and more.
